About the writer

Greetings. Allow me to introduce myself.  I am Frieda P. Smith, author, church planter, Pastor/Overseer, motivational speaker, prayer leader for “Five Minutes With God” [feel free to join me every morning from 6:30 am – 6:35 am Dial 1(641) 715-0861. Access Code:  546579], musician, singer, choir director, composer, playwright, actress, mother, grandmother, and a retired Westchester County (NY) Probation Officer.

I am a native New Yorker who had to make some “adjustments” due to a constant battle with pulmonary and cardiac sarcoidosis.  Although the disease has seriously altered my abilities to function in many areas of music and ministry and had hindered my ability to preach and teach for lengthy periods of time, my fingers have not been affected, nor has my mind and imagination.  Hence, I continue to write encouraging messages and books, produce plays, and minister in music as an organist.

I have written two inspirational books:  “How to Successfully Break out of Jail!” And Eleven Words…” Most recently, I began writing Christian fiction: “Everything Will be All Right: An Agape Love Story” and the sequel, “Old Things Are Passed Away: An Agape Love Story.” (Books are available on Amazon.com).

In 2004, I planted the Rehoboth Christian Church (presently worshiping in Elmsford, NY) and in January of 2017 I planted her daughter church, the Rehoboth Christian Church in Hampton, VA.

I love encouraging people to persevere through difficult situations, because I am a witness that God promised never to leave us, nor forsake us.  We can do all things through Christ Who gives us strength!

I can be reached at Pastorfrieda@yahoo.com

Be blessed and be a blessing!
