My mother taught me, “If you don’t know what to say, don’t say anything.”
It’s been a while since I’ve written a post, because I did not know what to say.
I could not write “There is a word,” because in all honesty, I needed “a word.”
“The word” I needed arrived yesterday morning, through the voice of the Lord to His young servant, Joshua: “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (New Living Translation)
The word “courageous” means to maintain “mental or moral strength to persevere and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.”
I needed this word!
You see, my friends, we all go through times of great difficulty in our lives. We are smiling, but we are struggling. The struggle may be so tiring, that we feel like giving up.
However, God is saying, “persevere!”
Don’t give up. You can do this!
As you struggle and fight your way through your latest trial, those you depended on may not be there for you, but you’re not alone.
The Lord your God is with you wherever you go!
Put your Holy Ghost “Game-Face” on!
Be strong and courageous!
You can do this!
