What Are You Known For?

Nahum 1:7

2016 Frieda P. Smith

All of us are known for something.

There are those who are known for being kindhearted, loyal, compassionate, and honest.

There are others who are known for being nasty, cruel, backstabbing, and shady (I’m not talking about you, am I?).

The Lord spoke through the Prophet Nahum, and declared in Nahum 1:7, “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.”

As Christians, we strive to be known for our good works and behaviors; however, when God looks down at us from heaven, we should be determined to be known as believers who trust in God.

Not our intellect. God.

Not our money. God.

Not our talents. God.

I have a question for you today.

What are you known for?
