We as Christians have a responsibility to honor our financial commitments and covenants, not only to God, but also to our fellow man and woman.
As many of us do not have the resources available to purchase items we need or want, we often pay for them with credit cards or bank loans.
There is nothing necessarily wrong with this practice; however, when the bill arrives in the mail or is delivered electronically and we ignore it because we do not have the money at the moment to pay it, we are in jeopardy of joining the ranks of the wicked.
You see, King David wrote these words (that are often overlooked) in Psalm 37:21a, “The wicked borrows and does not repay…”
